Shahab “Shane” Marashi is a documentary filmmaker and veteran producer currently based in Dallas, Texas. His work has taken him across the world and has appeared on major broadcast networks, such as CBS, TLC, A&E, FOX, and the NFL network.

Shahab has decades of experience in all stages of production – from development to field producing to post-editing. He regularly writes, shoots and edits his own personal and professional projects.

As a Knoxville, Tennessee native (go Vols!) and son of Iranian refugees, Shahab is passionate about finding and covering compelling, human-focused stories often hidden or ignored – stories that help empower regular people and build cultural connections at a time of intense division.

When not producing for TV and film, Shahab is dedicated to the craft of still photography, often using his Canon EOS-1 Film and Canon r5 cameras.
